A+ Afterschool program
With all of this service in one convenient location, you can rest assured that your child is being physically and mentally supported in our A+ After School Pickup Program. When you arrive at the end of your day to collect your children (as late as 6pm), you will be freed of the daily responsibilities to the school and feel motivated to spend quality time participating together in important leisure activities.
Individually, these services would incur great expense. Bundled together, your child will benefit from up to 15 hours of weekly athletic training and academic mentoring.
Your child will expand their knowledge, skills and have fun all while working towards their black belt in the martial art of Taekwondo. As a parent, you can feel confident that your child is being challenged, trained and encouraged to become a future leader.
A+ AFTER SCHOOL
PICKUP PROGRAM
The staff at Jeong’s Family Taekwondo of Niagara Falls believe that it takes a community to raise a child. With this in mind, we offer an after school academic mentorship and athletics (A+) opportunity we call the A+ After School Pickup Program. This service is designed specifically for busy families with demanding schedules.
1. PICK UP FROM SCHOOL
At the end of your child’s traditional school day, the Jeong’s Family Taekwondo A+ After School Program Pickup Shuttle will meet your child at their home school and safely transport them to our Taekwondo school.
Once your child arrives at Jeong’s Family Taekwondo, he/she will participate in a schedule of activities designed to help them achieve both academic and physical gains.
2. TAEKWONDO CLASS
Our time together begins with daily Taekwondo training under the direct supervision of our certified Instructors/Masters.
3. SNACK & NUTRITION BREAK
This training is followed by a short rest/nutrition break and then academic mentorship.
4. HOMEWORK DONE
During this time, your child will be helped with their daily homework and challenged with academically appropriate experiences and games.
Our instructors are passionate about martial arts and share important lessons around discipline, fitness and focus – while demonstrating healthy living and a passion for their training. You’ll learn in an inclusive, positive and goal-oriented environment as you improve your performance on the mats and in your daily life. Please know that spaces are limited in the A+ After School Pickup Program in order to provide quality of care, instruction, individualized attention and mentorship. This program is open to school aged children and available as a full week program or as an à la carte (irregular schedule) program. Please contact our Niagara Falls school for further information or to enrol your children.
